Mouse

Mouse komputer merupakan perangkat keras yang termasuk dalam golongan perangkat input (masukan). Fungsi mouse komputer adalah mengatur pergerakan kursor secara cepat, selain itu juga untuk memberikan suatu perintah dengan hanya menekan tombol pada mouse komputer. Di dalam perangkat mouse ini, terdapat sebuah bola kecil yang akan menangkap pergerakan mouse dan mentransfer sinyal listrik ke perangkat pemroses (CPU). Dengan demikian, mouse komputer dapat secara cepat melakukan kinerjanya sebagai perangkat masukan.

Mouse pertama kali ditemukan pada tahun 1963, oleh seorang penemu Amerika dari Stanford Research Institute, bernama Dr. Douglas C. Engelbart. Mouse yang pertama merupakan sebuah perangkat yang sangat sederhana.

Macam-macam jenis mouse:

1.      Mouse optic

Mouse optic menggunakan teknologi optic untuk menggerakkan pointer yang diletakkan dibawah mouse.

2.      Mouse serial

Mouse Serial banyak digunakan pada era komputer jaman dahulu, yaitu pada era Pentium 1 ataupun Pentium 3 yang berjenis AT. Dari bentuknya, mouse ini berbentuk port serial yang memiliki beberapa pin pada ujung portnya.

3.      Mouse PS/2

Mouse PS2 hingga saat ini masih tetap digunakan walaupun penggunanya terbilang tinggal sedikit saja berhubung telah banyaknya mouse dengan tipe dan teknologi yang lebih baru. 

Dari segi bentuk, Mouse PS2 mempunyai ciri khas berwarna hijau pada bagian ujung kabelnya, warna inilah yang digunakan untuk membedakan antara mouse dan keyboard yang biasanya menggunakan warna biru ataupun ungu.

4.      Mouse USB

Hingga saat ini Mouse jenis USB masih yang paling umum dan paling banyak digunakan oleh pengguna komputer, karena Mouse USB sangat kompatibel untuk komputer jaman sekarang. 

Dilihat dari bentuknya, Mouse USB mempunyai ciri khas yang berbentuk port pada ujung kabelnya. Penggunaannya sangat mudah, anda tinggal colokkan atau plug ke port usb komputer anda, dan mouse pun siap untuk digunakan.

5.      Mouse wireless

Teknologi terbaru dari mouse adalah di buatnya mouse dengan fitur wireless. Dengan adanya wireless maka penggunaan kabel pun berhasil dihilangkan, dan mouse bisa di gunakan dari jarak yang cukup berjauhan dengan komputer.

Penggunaan mouse wireless sangat mudah, anda tinggal colokkan wireless device ke port usb dan mouse andapun akan otomatis mendeteksi sinyal wireless tersebut.  

Dari segi harga, tentu saja Mouse Wireless lebih mahal dari mouse yang di sebutkan di atas, dan kekurangan lainnya dari penggunaan mouse jenis ini adalah adanya baterai yang di letakkan pada mouse sehingga anda akan menggantinya secar berkala jika baterai sudah dalam keadaan lemah atau low.

-          Penentuan jenis penyakit dengan cara meneliti (memeriksa) gejala-gejalanya.

-          Pemeriksaan terhadap suatu hal

Mendiagnosis artinya menentukan jenis penyakit dengan cara meneliti atau memeriksa gejalanya.

·         Mendiagnosis jaringan berbasis WAN

1.      Gejala koneksi jaringan putus-putus.

a.       Masalah           : kemungkinan tidak berfungsinya komponen jaringan yang disebabkan oleh korosi, aus, dan rusak. Korosi terjadi dikarenakan ruang atau tempat jaringan yang lembab dan juga pemakaian yang sudah terlalu lama tanpa adanya perawatan yang berkala.

b.      Solusi              : mengganti komponen yang rusak dengan yang baru dan sering merawat komponen tersebut.

2.      Gejala komputer tidak dapat terkoneksi dengan sistem jaringan kabel.

a.       Masalah           : -  kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan atau kerusakan pada kartu jaringan (Network Interface Card) .

                           - Kemungkinan bermasalah pada kabel seperti : susunan, pemasangan, terputus, koslet.

          -  Kemungkinan bermasalah pada konektor seperti : tidak rapat, salah satu pinnya rusak.

b.      Solusi              :  - ganti

   - cek kondisi kabel

   - jika masih bermasalah ganti.

3.      Gejala lampu indicator tidak menyala pada kartu jaringan dan pada hub/switch.

a.       Masalah           : kemungkinan permasalahan pada kabel atau konektor tidak terpasang dengan baik (longgar) atau susunan kabel yang salah atau kabel terputus.

b.      Solusi              : cek kembali apakah konektor terpasang dengan baik dan pastikan tidak ada kabel yang terbalik susunannya dan tidak putus.

4.      Gejala muncu pesan IP Konflik.

a.       Masalah           : terjadi alamat IP address yang sama

b.      Solusi              : ganti alamat IP address

5.      Gejala folder atau file tidak dapat diakses pada komputer.

a.       Masalah           : karena folder/file belum di sharing

b.      Solusi              : harus di sharing
